Data import and service status
The API and ingestion services run independently. Static reference and timetable feeds use scheduled imports, while Darwin realtime is consumed continuously.
Scheduled imports
Each import records its source, start time, completion state and record totals. Failed jobs remain visible for investigation and retry.
Rail quality checks
Automated checks run every 15 minutes for freshness, journey consistency and rail replacement stop coverage.
BODS queue
One NOC code is processed each hour, continuously cycling through the operator catalogue so bus data is refreshed in bounded passes.
Live rail
Darwin messages normally update within seconds, subject to upstream publication and connectivity.
